There are also several private facilities like Saint Mary Star of the Sea School, Old Mission Montessori School, and La Petite Academy. MiraCosta College and San Luis Rey College are nearby.

The beach city of Oceanside is San Diego County’s third largest. It forms a tri-city area with Vista and Carlsbad and is located south of the United States Marine Corp Base Camp Pendleton. There are many attractions and events throughout the year.
